An outdoor photoshoot to capture your family's story...

These photography sessions take place outdoors and are available between the months of May – August.

Family Sessions are perfect for capturing the love and precious bond between the members of your lovely family.

I take a natural and lifestyle approach to my family photography in order to keep you feeling at ease. I capture the natural interactions that take place between you and your little ones, stopping occasionally to gently direct the more posed photos.

If you have dogs in your family, they are more than welcome to come along for their photos too!

On The Day

What to expect from your outdoor photoshoot...

My Outdoor Photoshoots take place at a location with parking just a 5 minute drive from the studio. It’s a beautiful green space that we’ll all take a walk around. I will capture you all naturally as we walk, as well as setting up the occasional posed photo in particular areas.

As this session takes place outdoors, the arranged date and time is very much dependant on the weather, so please bear in mind that sessions may need to be re-arranged.

Your beautiful family’s photos will be ready for viewing at your ordering session within 2 – 3 weeks.

Pricing

Deposit, minimum spend & product collections...

This session if for your immediate family. Extended family members can be included for an additional £25 per person.

A non-refundable £99 deposit is required to secure your space in my diary. This will later be deducted from your final order.

Your photography session itself is completely free. Upon viewing, if you are not happy with any of your family’s photos, you do not have to purchase any and you will receive a full refund. This way you can book with complete confidence in your choice of photographer.

Should you wish to purchase any of your photos, there is a £499 minimum spend. This can be spent on any individual products from across the brochure, or put towards a collection of your choice. This is due on the date of your photography session.

Answers to the most frequently asked questions...

When Should I book?

Due to the weather, I only schedule Outdoor Photoshoots between May - August. I always advise initially scheduling your photography session as early in the year as you can should we need to re-schedule due to our British weather. This gives us a little more flexibility and time when it comes to rearranging.

When does the photoshoot take place?

This photography session is best scheduled in the evening, ideally a couple of hours before sunset. However, we work around timings that also work well with your little one's schedules so that they aren't getting too tired. Most sessions tend to be scheduled to start around 6:00pm.

Where is your studio?

My in-home studio is in Barnsley, South Yorkshire (S73 0RH). I'm just a 10 minute drive from junction 36 of the M1, giving easy access from Sheffield & Leeds. Parking space is available on our driveway. The location for your Outdoor Photoshoot is a 5 minute drive from this, and just 5 minutes from the M1.

How long is the session & what should I bring?

Outdoor Photography sessions typically last around 1 and a half, to 2 hours. We walk a lap around the beautiful outdoor location and finish perfectly as we get back to your car. I advise bringing some snacks and drinks for your little ones, but other than that the least we're carrying is generally better.

When will my photos be ready?

You will come back to the studio to view your family's beautiful photos around 2 weeks after the date of your photoshoot. Depending on what products you choose to order, production times will vary. The products included within the Collections will be ready within 2 - 3 weeks from ordering.

How much does it cost?
