June 2021 – Otis, Arthur & Family

I’ve known and been photographing this beautiful family since their first baby, Otis, was born back 2016!

Fast forward to now and Otis is 6 and a half, and has two brothers. Arthur, and Franklin (who was still in mum’s tummy when these were taken last June ) I’ve absolutely loved photographing all three boys through their first years, and can’t wait to see them all again for their next outdoor family session next June!

Bring your dogs

Of course beautiful Skylar the Whippet came along too, how could we possibly do a family photography session without her? I say to all of my clients, if you have a dog, please bring them along!

They’re just as much a part of your family and deserve to be in the photos too 🤍

Extra Space

The best thing about my Outdoor Photography Sessions, is the extra space. My studio is small and perfect for capturing babies. I can even get beautiful sibling photos and a family photo too, but I don’t have enough room to do a full and varied family photography session.Being outdoors, the extra space really allows me to get more creative and capture you all naturally as well as setting up a few posed photos too.

It really does allow me to tell the story of your family, capture all of those natural interactions as well as the the more set up family photos too. It really is the best of both worlds 🤍

Naturally captured

Little Otis is really such a character! These natural photos, although maybe not deemed ‘perfect’, are often some of my absolute favourites because they’re the ones that really capture personality.

 

As you can see, we get plenty of beautiful and perfect family photos too, but I do like to keep the more in-perfectly perfect photos in my outdoor galleries as well.

 

They’re the ones that really tell the full story of the day 🤍

This family session took place just 13 days before Jamie gave birth and little Franklin came along. With the session being so close to Jamie’s due date, we wanted to get a couple of photos to really focus on her beautiful bump and pregnancy too 🤍

Limited availability

My outdoor photography sessions are very limited, as with our unreliable weather I only run them from May – August! They really are perfect sessions to continue capturing your babies after they’ve turned 12 months and continue to grow.
