This photography session is for older babies who are crawling, toddlers, & children. Whether your baby is crawling, taking their first steps, or running around – this is the perfect photography session for them!

Babies are usually 9 months and older at the time of this photography session. However, the most popular time to schedule your Older Baby Photography session is to capture your little one’s first birthday.

On The Day

What to expect from your Sitter photoshoot...

These sessions are so much fun and really enable us to bring out your little one’s personality, allowing me to capture those memories for you to cherish forever.

All sessions take place at my in-home studio. Each Baby Photography session will last approximately two – three hours.

On the day of your shoot, you should bring along a few of your child’s favourite toys, a few changes, and lunch/snacks.

Your beautiful baby’s photos will be ready for viewing at your ordering session within 2 – 3 weeks.

Pricing

Deposit, minimum spend & product collections...

A non-refundable £99 deposit is required to secure your space in my diary. This will later be deducted from your final order.

Your photography session itself is completely free. Upon viewing, if you are not happy with the quality of your baby’s photos, you do not have to purchase any and you will receive a full refund. This way you can book with complete confidence in your choice of photographer.

Should you wish to purchase any of your photos, there is a £499 minimum spend. This can be spent on any individual products from across the brochure, or put towards a collection of your choice. This is due on the date of your photography session.

Answers to the most frequently asked questions...

When Should I book?

Most clients book this session during their Sitter Photography Viewing to guarantee availability around the time of their baby's first birthday. However, this session can be booked at any time for any aged little one. I do advise getting in touch a month or two in advance of your ideal session date in order to guarantee availability.

When does the photoshoot take place?

The most popular age clients book this session for is to capture their little one's first birthday. However, it's a perfect session for little ones of any age. Whether they're 12 months or 12 years.

Where is your studio?

All photoshoots take place at my in-home studio in Barnsley, South Yorkshire (S73 0RH). I'm just a 10 minute drive from junction 36 of the M1, giving easy access from Sheffield & Leeds. Parking space is available on our driveway.

Sibling & Family Photos?

Siblings are more than welcome (and encouraged!) to come along to your photography session. As well as taking photos of your little ones together, I always take photos of your older children individually too! I give siblings a little mini-shoot of their own to ensure they feel included and you have beautiful photos of all of your children to choose from. This often makes selecting your wall art easier and well balanced. Of course, it also goes without saying that I will capture photos of you all as a family too. I always include both sibling and family photos with all of my photography sessions at no additional cost.

How long is the session & what should I bring?

These Photography sessions typically last around 2 hours. They take place in the morning and, if possible, we try to schedule them around your baby's morning nap. Like all my other sessions, there is never a strict time limit and time is always allowed for cuddles and snacks if needed.

When will my photos be ready?

You will come back to the studio to view your baby's beautiful photos around 2 weeks after the date of your photoshoot. Depending on what products you choose to order, production times will vary. The products included within the Collections will be ready within 2 - 3 weeks from ordering.

How much does it cost?

There is a £499 minimum spend. This can be spent on any individual products from across the brochure, or put towards a collection of your choice. The remaining £400 of this balance (as you will already have paid a £99 deposit) is due on the date of your photography session.
