Your little one's Newborn Photography Session...

The perfect time for your little one’s newborn photoshoot, particularly if you’re wanting a posed newborn photography session, is when they’re between 4 – 21 days old. 

Newborn photoshoots for older newborns (4 – 12 weeks) can definitely still take place. It’s a beautiful age to focus on awake photos and wrapped poses.

It’s best to get in touch and book in around the time of your 20 week scan to guarantee availability.

All sessions take place at my in-home studio at 10:30am and last approximately four hours.

On The Day

What to expect from your newborn photoshoot...

My newborn photography sessions have no time limitations. My whole day belongs to you should your baby need that extra time to settle. Only one baby is ever booked in per day to ensure that absolutely nothing is rushed. This way, we keep baby happy & achieve the highest quality photographs. My aim is to ensure that both you and your baby are happy, relaxed, and have an enjoyable day that you will remember forever.

If your baby has any older siblings, they are more than welcome to come along to the photoshoot. As well as taking photos of them together, I’ll always take photos of your older children individually too! I always include both sibling and a few family photos with all of my photography sessions at no additional cost.

Your beautiful baby’s photos will be ready for you to view at your ordering appointment within 2 – 3 weeks.

Pricing

Deposit, minimum spend & product collections...

A non-refundable £99 deposit is required to secure your space in my diary. This will later be deducted from your final order.

Your photography session itself is completely free. Upon viewing, if you are not happy with the quality of your baby’s photos, you do not have to purchase any and you will receive a full refund. This way you can book with complete confidence in your choice of photographer.

Should you wish to purchase any of your photos, there is a £499 minimum spend. This can be spent on any individual products from across the brochure, or put towards a collection of your choice. This is due on the date of your photography session.

    When Should I book?

    In order to guarantee availability, bookings are best taken from around the time of your 20 week scan. Last minute availability is sometimes available, so don't hesitate to get in touch if your little one has already arrived. A £99 non-refundable deposit is required to book your session and secure your little one's space in my diary.

    When does the photoshoot take place?

    For a posed newborn photography session, it's best for your photoshoot to take place before your little one is 3 weeks old. Older Newborn sessions can still take place up to 12 weeks. It's a beautiful age to focus on your baby's newly found eye contact and wrapped poses.

    How does booking work without a set date?

    Bookings work around your due date, then a specific date for your session is arranged between both of us once your little one has arrived. This way, we can work around you and your baby specifically, taking into account how you're feeling after your baby's arrival.

    Sibling & Family Photos?

    Siblings are more than welcome (and encouraged!) to come along to your newborn photography session. As well as taking photos of your little ones together, I always take photos of your older children individually too! I give siblings a little mini-shoot of their own to ensure they feel included and you have beautiful photos of all of your children to choose from. This often makes selecting your wall art easier and well balanced. Of course, it also goes without saying that I will capture photos of you all as a family too. I always include both sibling and family photos with all of my photography sessions at no additional cost.

    How long is the session & what should I bring?

    Newborn Photography sessions typically last around 4 hours. However, I have no time limit and my whole day belongs to you should your little one need that extra time to settle. I don't want my clients feeling under any pressure or anxiously checking the time if their little one is a tad unsettled or takes a little longer to feed.

    When will my photos be ready?

    You will come back to the studio to view your baby's beautiful photos around 2 weeks after the date of your photoshoot. Depending on what products you choose to order, production times will vary. The products included within the Collections will be ready within 2 - 3 weeks from ordering.

    How much does it cost?

The remaining £400 of this balance (as you will already have paid a £99 deposit) is due on the date of your photography session.

    Can't recommend Hayley enough. We booked with Hayley for our little boy's new born shoot when he was just 4 days old.
